The second round of public meetings were held on March 22 and 23, 2023. These were the final public meetings for the concept design phase.

CDOT 1 Public Meetings Held July 2022

Natural Resources ITF

An ITF will also be formed of regulatory agency staff to focus on natural resources, including wetlands, water quality, and wildlife.

Project Leadership/Technical Team Meeting - June 30

A Project Leadership Team/Technical Team made up of technical experts from multiple disciplines and agencies will meet four times during the project to focus on moving the decision-making process forward. This group includes representatives from CDOT, Eagle County, Garfield County, Town of Gypsum, U.S. Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management. View the PLT-TT Meeting Notes for June 2022.

Open Houses (First Round)

Public meetings were held on July 19, 2022 (in Glenwood Springs) and July 20, 2022 (in Gypsum) to introduce the project. Property Owner/Residential Issue Task Force (ITF) Meeting

The Colorado Department of Transportation project team discussed the Cottonwood Pass Concept Design project at the first property owner/residential Issue Task Force (ITF) meeting.

Property Owner/Residential ITF #1 held August 15, 2022

This group will meet three times throughout the project to discuss residential needs and gather input to inform decision-making.
